John Derstine, Senior Commercial Insurance Advisor for Lacher & Associates in Souderton, PA, recently received his Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designation from The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research.

As a CRM, John has demonstrated his expertise in the areas of risk management, hazards and exposures.  These skills are used to help organizations manage risks to their property, liability, human resources and net income.  The certification entailed John attending five courses and passing a five-part examination.  The topics for the courses and examinations are Principles of Risk Management, Analysis of Risk, Control of Risk, Financing of Risk and Practice of Risk Management.
