SOUDERTON, PA, April 7, 2011 - Lacher & Associates is pleased to announce that Mark Lacher, Partner, has been named the 2011 Benefits Selling Broker of the Year.  The announcement was made at the 7th Annual Benefits Selling Expo in Nashville, TN.  According to Summit Business Media, publisher of Benefit's Selling and Denis Storey, Editor of the magazine, “The Benefits Selling Broker of the Year is one of the industry’s most prestigious awards and identifies brokers and consultants who have influenced the benefits industry in a positive way.”

At Lacher & Associates, Lacher has focused on changing the conversation around employee benefits with current and prospective clients.  His focus on a broad, strategic conversation with companies about challenges and opportunities in their businesses' has helped L&A re-define the role they have with their clients.  This focus includes providing business consulting services, from sales & human resources training to developing a social media strategy.  Under Mark's guidance, L&A launched a business consulting division in 2010 to provide a suite of customized solutions to business clients.
