Position Summary
We’re looking for a dependable and detail-driven Finance Associate to support the financial operations that keep our company running strong. You’ll work closely with our Director of Finance and collaborate across departments to ensure financial accuracy, strengthen reporting, and contribute to key strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily finance operations including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
- Support month-end and year-end close processes and help prepare internal financial reports
- Maintain the general ledger and assist in ongoing budget tracking and expense monitoring
- Reconcile insurance carrier payables, commissions, and premium accounts
- Contribute to cash flow tracking, forecasting, and other financial modeling efforts
- Collaborate with departments to resolve discrepancies and promote financial accuracy
- Assist the finance team in delivering insights that support strategic decisions
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field—or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in insurance
- Proficiency in Applied EPIC, QuickBooks, Excel, and general ledger systems
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Keen attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while staying accurate and efficient
- Familiarity with insurance agency finance operations (a plus)
